The opportunity

Faraday Grid is growing rapidly and is generating intensifying amount of interest globally. To support the volume of requests and enquiries, Faraday is in need of a Customer Relations Officer to act as the coordinator of the response process.

Key Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for Faraday Grid in-person and digitally. Handle any enquiries (email, telephone, personal visits) professionally and efficiently. Recognise relevance of enquiries and by understanding the internal workings of Faraday be able to direct critical enquiries to the relevant personnel. Ensure that the Faraday Grid brand is represented appropriately in all communications.

Scope of the role

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role will entail reacting and responding to incoming enquiries as well as ensuring external parties are informed about, consulted upon, and engaged with. The person fulfilling this role is responsible for the efficient running of the daily reception operation in the Edinburgh office as well as keeping track of enquiries through all channels from website enquiries and across social media channels, and liaising with team members to ensure prompt responses. 

This role will involve executing social media activity to support the external communications program.

This person will be able to recognise trends in customer enquiries and make recommendations to the Head Of Communications about how to improve external affairs engagement, and contribute to building processes that enable more efficient response.
