We are looking for a Financial Controller to be based in our Edinburgh office on a full-time basis. Reporting to our CFO, you will manage an effective global finance organisation, whilst establishing and maintaining financial policies and processes such as invoicing, debtor management, purchasing and cost control.

The Financial Controller will have responsibility for all group accounting to include financial, tax and audit reports and implementation of appropriate ERP and other reporting systems  


  • Ensuring processes and procedures maximise business efficiencies and are fully automated where appropriate.

  • Monthly management reporting, shareholder reporting, board reporting and bank reporting including bank covenants.

  • Statutory reporting and associated management of the audit and auditors.

  • Managing group corporate structure, treasury and tax.

  • Developing and implementing appropriate KPIs in close cooperation with the business.

  • Preparing ad hoc reports and financial data as necessary to support on-going and new business opportunities.

  • Processing monthly payroll and providing financial information to enable informed decision making at strategic and tactical level.

  • Implementing adequate and robust internal controls and processes that can scale with the business.

  • Analysing all balance sheet accounts and reconciling monthly.


  • Demonstrate reliability, transparency, open-mindedness, aspiration and rigour.

  • Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to bring others together and facilitate collaborative working.
