Position title: BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER

Job Purpose

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business project manager to directly support our Chief Operating Officer across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role is within a rapidly expanding company who is enabling sustainable prosperity for everyone.

BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER Job Duties

  • Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer

  • Help administer and structure the execution of a portfolio of projects

  • Leverage the existing talent base within a diverse multi-cultural environment

  • Support the team engaging on project proposals and project execution plans

  • Build impactful and effective project plans and meaningful tools to monitor progress

  • Identify and monitor key project KPIs forming a global operational dashboard on BI platform

  • Help project teams identify and take ownership of specific and measurable objectives

  • Help resolve, determine, rationalize, track, and handle project risks; escalating as required

  • Create concise actions from meetings and update project templates as required

  • Analyse project progress and maintain project plans in milestone summary schedule format

  • Identify gating items, critical decision points, gaps in the portfolio

  • This role could be a stepping stone to enlarged roles within a rapidly expanding organisation

BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher

  • Up to 5-10 years of relevant experience

  • Could be from a strategy boutique/ management consultancy/ industrial sector

  • Experience of working in a high growth industry/ start-up preferred but not essential

  • Complex multi-stakeholder, multi-discipline hands on project management experience

  • Familiar with project management lifecycle and planning + budgeting + risk management + BI tools

Up to GBP40k per annum commensurate with skills and experience
