Position Title: Principal Performance and Systems Analysis Engineer
We are looking for a Principal Performance and Systems Analysis Engineer to be based in our Edinburgh office on a full-time basis. Reporting to the VP Innovation UK you will have lead responsibility for performance and systems analysis aligned with our product roadmap.

Are qualified to MSc or PhD level, with 15 or more years’ experience.
Have substantial experience of requirements capture, flow down/up and assessment.
Can demonstrate the ability to undertake complex mathematical modelling and simulation.
Have excellent working knowledge of sensitivity and Monte Carlo analysis.
Can carry out power transmission system analysis and simulation, and power electronics analysis and simulation.
Have demonstrable working knowledge of control system design.
Understand matlab/simulink with control, power systems and simscape experience.
Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to bring others together and facilitate collaborative working.
Enjoy teaching and coaching others who can learn from your experience.
Have a natural ability to think outside of the box.
Are comfortable working in a non-hierarchical organisational structure and enjoy the innovation that stems from decentralised control.
