Faraday Grid makes further senior hires as the company continues to ramp up operations and global activity

  • Kris Beyens joins as Chief Operating Officer focusing on scaling Faraday Grid’s global engineering and operations for hyper-growth.

  • Jan Juhasz joins as Vice President Engineering, UK, working across Faraday’s engineering teams.

Faraday Grid, the energy technology company, has appointed Kris Beyens as its Chief Operating Officer, and Jan Juhasz as Vice President Engineering, UK, as the company pushes ahead with global expansion.

Kris Beyens joins as Chief Operating Officer and will oversee Faraday’s global engineering, supply chain and operations. Previously Kris was at eBay for eight years in several senior roles, most recently as Vice President & COO for eBay International AG. He was responsible for coordinating the eBay customer experience, managed merchant operations and led the advertising product and sales, mergers and acquisitions and business development across EMEA. Before eBay, Kris worked for GE Healthcare, a major unit of General Electric, as a finance executive leading financial planning and analysis and several major finance transformation projects. Kris has extensive global finance and operational experience and is ideally positioned to help Faraday Grid scale.

Jan Juhasz joins as VP Engineering, UK, responsible for expanding the current engineering team and working across Faraday’s global Innovation Centres. Jan has spent his professional career managing complex utility and industry projects, and prior to joining Faraday Grid he was a Group Engineering Manager in Schneider Electric managing and covering EMEA region projects. He has also worked for leading technology and engineering companies including Enel SpA, Siemens GmbH and Honeywell Corp and has managed successful projects in nuclear and gas power plants, complex T&D substations, industrial electrical distribution, control systems and power grid dispatching and control centres.
